Lukasz Borowicz nominated for the MIDEM classic award 2009

LUKASZ BOROWICZ has been nominated for the MIDEM CLASSICAL AWARD 2009 in the category of OPERA with his orchestra, the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra Warsaw, for the opera “Lodoiska” of Luigi Cherubini (double-CD-album).

The CD contains a live recording on March 17th 2008 of the 12th Beethoven-Festival in Warsaw. Christa Ludwig was the artistic advisor of the production and the narrator was Paul-Emile Deiber.

The soloists of the performance were:
Sofia Soloviy - soprano (Lodoiska), Małgorzata Pańko – mezzo-soprano (Lysinka), Tadeusz Szlenkier - tenor (Floreski), Alexander Kröner - tenor (Titzikan), Lionel Lhôte - baritone (Varbel), Wojtek Gierlach - bass (Dourlinski), Remigiusz Łukomski - bass (Altamoras).
