Golo Berg leaves Dessau

After eight successful years Golo Berg will complete his contract as chief conductor and music director at the State Theater Dessau (Anhaltisches Staatstheater Dessau) by the end of the season 2008/09 and attend more intensively to invitations as a guest conductor. Under his musical direction the Theater obtained nationwide attention. Regular radio transmissions with the Philharmonic Orchestra Dessau were as established as concert tours within Germany and abroad.
