Michael Sanderling delights with the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock

On May 12th, 13th and 14th Michael Sanderling conducted the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock with Haydn’s Symphony "Tempura mutantur", Hindemith’s viola concerto "The Swan-Turner" and Brahm’s Symphony n. 3. This programm will be interpreted again on May 14th in Eckernförde. Today Michael Baumgartl writes at Ostsee-Zeitung:
"Michael Sanderling acted freshly, filled with verve and with a vigorous full string sound, but clearly defining the speaking polyphony between the upper voices. (…) A musically exactly elaborated but yet vehement, thrilling interpretation, for which the audience acclaimed the guest conductor with enthused applause and trampling and called him onto the stage again and again."
